The Routemaster returns to London

After three years of absence, iconic red Routemaster double decker buses will roam the streets of London once again. From Saturday 15th October, at 09:00am, the first Routemaster will depart from Waterloo Station on Londoner Buses' Heritage Route A, winding its way through Central London to Piccadilly Circus.

Londoner Buses

Londoner Buses, a subsidiary of Transpora Group, will revive history and transport you back to a revolutionary era in London transportation history by providing a ride on a traditional, heritage London Routemaster bus. The route's philosophy includes giving tourists a taste of what it was like to travel on a Routemaster bus in the past. Depending on traffic, the round trip will take 40 to 45 minutes.

Take a ride on this moving icon to see the best of what the Capital City has to offer, meet our friendly customer assistants, and see some of the city's best landmarks. An adult day ticket costs just £5.00 and allows you to travel as many times as you want throughout the day, stopping at key locations like Parliament Square, Whitehall, and Piccadilly Circus.
