Greater Manchester residents will benefit when reduced bus tickets go into effect starting from the 4th of September 2022. Mayor Andy Burnham and the leaders of Greater Manchester have advanced the proposal for cheaper, easier tickets by a year in order to address the present cost-of-living crisis. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) It is the largest improvement to the Greater Manchester bus network since deregulation 36 years ago and will save passengers on some trips about 50 percent on their journey cost.
